Microsoft published for the first time ever the source code for its first system (MS-DOS), the system that was used since 1982 in personal computers from IBM.
Microsoft will allow for the first time to view the source code for MS-DOS versions 1.10 and 2.0, in addition to the source code of Microsoft Word version 1990, at the Museum (Computer History Museum) in Mountain View, California in the United States .
It is well known that Microsoft made software with closed source and refuses always to reveal its source codeof it softwares, and just to take in mind the MS-DOS system is the first system was marketed by Microsoft through IBM Corp. , which was looking for a system is accompanied by its personal computers, and the MS-DOS system was built on the system (QDOS) which is developed by (Tim Patterson) and it is the primary source of which is built the next Windows Operating Systems.
